The INCD ensures compliance with the legal obligations arising from Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (RGPD) and other legislation in force and related to the protection of personal data, in the processing of the personal data that it performs.

The INCD, with headquarters in the Av do Brasil 101, in Lisbon, is responsible for processing the personal data of users of the infrastructure.
II. For what purpose will personal data be processed?
The main purpose of the processing of users' personal data is the management of applications for registration and / or access to the services provided by INCD.
III. What personal data will be processed?
In the context of the supply of products and / or services, INCD will process the following user data: identification and contact information, institution of origin, position in the institution, publications and scientific results, association with projects requiring the services of infrastructure and its objectives.
INCD also collects data on the use of its services and network accesses made by users.
IV. How will personal data be treated?
The personal data of the users will be treated by INCD using appropriate technical and organizational measures to promote their security and confidentiality, in particular in relation to the unauthorized or unlawful treatment of their personal data and their accidental loss, destruction or damage.
V. Who are the recipients of personal data?
The personal data of the users may be provided to the supporting entities of INCD for the purpose of justifying the support received, in particular through public reports of implementation of support and centralized accounting of the use of the services.
The personal data of users will not be communicated to third parties for commercial purposes.
In compliance with legal obligations, personal data may be transmitted to judicial, administrative, supervisory or regulatory authorities, as well as entities that lawfully perform data compilation actions, or statistics.
VI. How long will personal data be processed?
The personal data will be kept as long as they are necessary for the processing of requests and / or access to the services provided by INCD. After this relationship, the data will be kept for the minimum period for legal protection of INCD. The data will eventually be anonymised and retained for infrastructure utilization statistics.

INCD users have the right to:
